Doesn’t look like a wedding photo but this drummer was actually flown in from Tanzania to perform at a wedding here in Windhoek, Namibia. He was awesome.
Not really wedding-related but I’d like you to know that Photoshelter has come up with lattice, a new way to create a kind of virtual stock agency.
I am curating the lattice board ‘Namibia‘ which will contain a tight set of outstanging Namibia photographs ready for licensing.
Please enjoy and consider contributing. This way you will get exposure for your photography and quite possibly generate sales!
Yep, 2015 has started, my short vacation at the coast is over. Photographically, I had fun with flamingos and ship wrecks…
Back to unusual: At his engagement shoot with Rebekka and Peter the other day it got a bit later and darker than planned so I had to use flash. I hate the flashy look of pictures. So I ‘dragged the shutter’, that is I used a long shutter speed (0.3 s, hand held). This allows to balance ambient and flash light and gives a much nicer appearance. I put a warming (orange) filter on the flash to avoid having a cool couple in a warm environment. This technique leads to somewhat unpredictable results but this one I really like.
Happy New Year 2015!
I had a very busy Wedding-December and right now I’m busy catching up…
Some pictures from the Kalahari added to the Gallery today! Enjoy!
Yep, December is wedding season in Namibia.
This means I have been and I still am very busy…
But I managed to add some new images to the wedding gallery today. Enjoy!
